About Aperçu

Aperçu is a new sans-serif typeface designed by Brighton based studio The Entente. A full family of Light, Light Italic, Regular, Regular Italic, Medium, Medium Italic, Bold, Bold Italic and Mono are now available to purchase.

Aperçu was started in December 2009, and has been trialled and tested through a number of design comissions taken on by The Entente through 2010.

The conceit behind Aperçu was to create a synopsis or amalgamation of classic realist typefaces: Johnston, Gill Sans, Neuzeit & Franklin Gothic.

Light & Light Italic have been limited to
100 unique copies, each with its own numbered glyph.

It comes complete with a full upper & lowercase and latin character set in OpenType format, with proportional, tabular and super-scripted numbers.
