Colophon Foundry is a trading style of AS & EH Partnership Ltd a registered company in England & Wales. Company Number of 8402407 and a VAT Number of 131-5426-45. This company collects the data that is passed through this website. Contact details can be found at the bottom of this page.
2. What information do we collect
In operating our website we may collect and process the following data about you:
— The personal information we collect might include name, address, email address, billing address, delivery address, IP address and information regarding what pages are accessed and when.
— If you make an online purchase from us, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third party payment processors.
— Details of your visits to our website and the resources that you access including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblog statistics and other communication data. Colophon Foundry utilise Google Analytics to collect information about visitor behaviour on this website. Google Analytics stores information about what pages you visit, how long you are on the site, how you got here and what you click on. The analytical data does not personally identify you and is unable to specifically be linked to any personal information, for example name and address.
— Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Website, such as when you register to receive information such as a newsletter or contact us via email.
— Information provided to us when you communicate with us for any reason via electronic mail or telephone.
3. How we use your information
The information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide our services to you. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:
— To provide you with information requested from us relating to our products or services and to provide information on other products which we feel may be of interest to you if you have consented to receive such information. You may unsubscribe from any marketing emails at any time, this will always be on every single marketing email we send out.
— To meet our contractual commitments to you e.g. process your e-commerce order, we hold you in our secure licensee database. As a company registered in the United Kingdom, we must, by law hold onto your purchasing details for six (6) years after purchase.
— To notify you about any changes to our Website, such as improvements or service / product changes, that may affect our service and / or our products.
— If you are an existing customer, we may contact you with information about goods and services similar to those which were the subject of a previous sale to you.
4. Storage of data
Data that is provided to us is stored on our secure servers. Details relating to any transactions entered into via our site will be encrypted to ensure its safety.
For security of transactions, we use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol, which encrypts any personal information you enter into registration forms on the Application. The encryption process protects your information, by scrambling it before it is sent to us from your computer. We also make commercially reasonable effort to ensure the security of your personal information on our system.

5. Third parties
We will not pass your details onto any third-party provider, only in specific situations such as those listed below:
— If you order a physical product (book, poster or product) from our website, we will pass the data onto the Royal Mail post office, where it will only be utilised temporarily to process the order.
— Our accountancy software Kashflow. We pass on information on purchasing (name, address and products purchased) to our third party accounting software. We can confirm that these third parties are GDPR compliant.
— Our mailing list is hosted by Campaign Monitor, a secure GDPR compliant third-party.
— All our payments are hosted by Braintree, a division of Paypal, and are GDPR compliant.
— If you are in the EU and enter a VAT number during the checkout process, your VAT number will be passed to VIES, our VAT validation provider VIES. No other personal identifiable information will be passed on to this service.
Access to information and the right to be forgotten
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (1998) gives you the right to access the information that we hold about you. The ruling also gives the user the right to have all data deleted, and to opt-out to all marketing communication. To stop us tracking your usage of this website, please block all cookies. All computers have the ability to decline cookies. This can be done by activating the setting on your browser which enables you to decline the cookies. If you license our typeface products for usage on any mediums, and ask to be forgotten this may infringe your license agreement with AS & EH Partnership Ltd and Colophon Foundry to utilise the fonts you have licensed in the past.
